Well it’s a new year. 2012 was a good year. I thought I would share some highlights as best I can remember them. This may require me going back on Facebook or Twitter and seeing what I was doing at some of these times. Other times like June for instance are quite obvious, for those who don’t know Tyler and I got married in June of 2012 🙂 So I will go month by month and see what I can remember 🙂
January 2012- Tyler and I rang in the New Year in Ohio with my family. He headed back to drive home to Virginia and had to turn around and come back due to ice and snow.
-I got to enjoy a particularly mild winter as I lived in Southern Georgia this winter. 30 in the mornings, 60 in the afternoon, I couldn’t complain except for the whole long distance relationship thing.
February 2012- Tyler and I spent Valentines apart. He sent me flowers and I sent him a box with a “long distance date night”
-I traveled to Alabama for a wedding shower for my best friend!
March 2012- Bachelorette party in Alabama for my best friend, Anna!
-First wedding shower for me in Georgia and The Hunger Games!!!
April 2012- I can’t think of anything exceptionally exciting. I tried my best to enjoy my last month as a Nanny for my two favorite little girls.
May 2012- I left my nanny job of 2 years 🙁 That was a hard day.
-Second wedding shower in Tennessee!
-Moved to Ohio and got my wisdom teeth out
-Second round of Engagement pictures, food tasting, cake tasting and more packed into one weekend!
-My bachelorette party
June 2012- WEDDING month! So you can only imagine all that I did from June 1st-16th. We traveled to Virginia and moved a bunch of my stuff in and did countless wedding tasks to get ready.
-June 16th was wedding day and June 17th we headed to Mexico!
July 2012- We settled into married life in Virginia. We had 4th of July at the Twaddells and did our best to brave the heat and explore the surrounding areas.
August 2012- My birthday month! Olive Garden and chocolate cake make for a good birthday 🙂
-My family came and we did Extreme Home Makeover Ballard style.
September 2012- We did some traveling. We went to Tennessee then we went to meet my family for a lake weekend.
-We traveled to New Jersey for a wedding with Tyler’s parents.
October 2012- Well there was Halloween when we dressed up as Stefan and Elena from the Vampire Diaries
November 2012- Thanksgiving in Ohio with my family!
December 2012- Christmas in Tennessee then on to Atlanta for more Christmas, a visit from Anna and Kyle, Miles’s birthday party and then back to Virginia to finish out the year with awful head colds.
Hello 2013. We can’t wait to see what you have in store 🙂
Oh and 2013 has started out good, ROLL TIDE ROLL!
