Well Hello Dolly.

Well we started out 2013 with an exciting new addition to the family. A 3 year old greyhound/pointer dog, Dolly Piper Glover. We had been looking at her for awhile and finally got to go meet her last Saturday. We loved her and brought her home with us that day. For those of you who know me you know I’m not the biggest dog person. But Dolly has made me a dog person. She is so sweet, adoring and well behaved. I had a couple days off this week so it was good to spend some time with her getting her used to the house. She is so well behaved that she stays at home with free roam of the downstairs while we are at work and she has not misbehaved once.

So that is our biggest news, this week we also had our first snow of the winter. It has been ridiculously warm for January until this week. This week brought very cold temperatures and snow. I had to drive to work in the snow on Thursday and snow driving is not in my comfort zone. Fortunately it was only about an inch so I survived. I cannot tell you how ready I am for sunshine and the beach and warm weather!

So that is the news in the Glover house. Other than getting Dolly we have not done much else exciting. Hopefully we can do something else exciting soon to blog about. Hope you all are doing great 🙂
