Wedding Resources-Where to start?

If you’re in the beginning stages of wedding planning and you have never been involved in planning another wedding then you might not know where to start. Today I thought I would share with you some of the wedding resources I used when planning my wedding and also some resources friends shared with me.

Wedding Planning Resources

-The Knot- if you have not heard of the knot then you are missing out. This is a great website for all things wedding planning. You enter your wedding date and it gives you monthly tasks to complete, it has tons of vendors you can search through, and also lots of pictures from other weddings so you can gather inspiration.

-The Wedding Channel- this site is associated with The Knot and it offers similar resources. Some other things both sites offer are articles about every wedding question you may have from budget to honeymoon. Reviews on all the vendors you are searching through, assistance with your registry and it also offers a shop to purchase unique things for your wedding.

-Wedding Wire- This is another planning resource for you. Sometimes you may find a certain vendor isn’t listed on one site so it’s nice to have another site to use to check them out. You always want to read reviews before you hire a vendor!

-Pinterest- So I’m pretty sure everyone knows what Pintrest is now. It was just coming around when I was planning my wedding and it was a wonderful resource for inspiration!

Wedding Shops

Ann’s Bridal Bargains- whether it be personalized napkins, matchbooks or invitations this website has it all.

Wedding Paper Divas- If you’re looking to do your own invitations or just need some shower invites this is a great site to check out for that. I give you a lot of different resources because I did a lot of price shopping to find the best deals.

Vistaprint- This is a great site for Save the Dates and Shower Invitations. They have great prices!

Let’s Dance Garters- This is a fun site if you want a specific garter. Tyler is a huge Tennessee fan and I am a huge Alabama fan so I didn’t allow any orange at our wedding (it wasn’t in the color scheme and to be fair I didn’t have crimson either). But as a surprise I ordered a Tennessee garter for the garter toss. I don’t remember if I ordered from here or somewhere else. Once I knew there were unique garters out there I did searching till I found one I liked.

Personalization Mall- All things personalized! Great for bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts!

This is just a start of a list for wedding resources. And disclaimer I was not asked by any of these sites to promote them I am just sharing with you the resources that I found helpful when planning my wedding.

I hope this is helpful to any of you planning a wedding and if you’ve already planned your wedding and have a great site that I left out please leave it in the comments and let me know! I’m always on the lookout for new wedding resources.
