This week was Tyler’s birthday! It was also our 3rd year dating anniversary the day before so it was a celebratory week. When we were spending many hours in the car on vacation I had him tell me exactly what he wanted for his birthday (not gift wise, that was a surprise).
For his meal choice we had Swiss Cheese Chicken, you should check out the recipe if you have not yet. It is really easy and delicious. I was excited that he picked such an easy recipe for his birthday dinner.
For dessert he wanted Funfetti Cupcakes with vanilla icing. They were delicious! And this time I was successful in my cupcake baking and didn’t spill them all over the floor.
After he came home from lunch and went back to work I decorated the kitchen. Orange and White streamers everywhere for his love for Tennessee football and a balloon which was the only birthday one I could find since everything is Graduation themed right now. Cupcakes, candles and cards.
When he got home he had to open the back of the suv as a way of opening his present because it was too heavy for me to get out of the car. I got him a grill which we are pretty excited to start using once this rain goes away.
So that was just a little snapshot of how we celebrated Tyler’s birthday! And here are a few pictures as well.
