Dollar Store Fall Centerpiece

Fall is in the air here. Yesterday was so cool and crisp outside, I just loved it. I made a new apple recipe that is so delicious and I will be sharing it with you later this week. Today I am sharing my fall centerpiece with you. The great thing about this centerpiece is everything, minus the burlap, came from the dollar store. I love when I can create something beautiful for just a few dollars!

Supplies:
-Basket
-Foam blocks to hold flowers
-Fall Florals of your choice
-Hot glue gun
-Burlap

Instructions:
1. Began by hot gluing the foam blocks to the bottom of the basket. You will either have bought these to size or might have to cut them down. I bought a pack of like six small squares and just stacked them all together in the center of the basket.

2. Stick fall florals into the foam blocks and arrange as desired. It took me awhile to get mine right, you just have to play with it until it looks good to you.

3. Take burlap or any other fabric or ribbon you might have on hand and arrange around the bottom to cover up the stems. And now you have a beautiful and easy fall centerpiece.

Fall Centerpiece-1

Have you created a fall centerpiece? I’d love to see it! Do you ever shop for craft supplies at the dollar store? I’ve had great success. My last dollar store craft was my Seashell Craft. I need to go more often when I feel inspired to create before I go dropping lots of money on craft supplies.

I love this! I’ve seen quite a few dollar store finds for fall decorations. This is wonderful. You can create a nice deco and save money. The saving money part is definitely a favorite of mines. Love it!

This is really cute. I might have to take kiddo to the $1 store and pick up a few things and make something. This would make a cute background to some of my pumpkin food photos too!

Love this idea. I teach Foods I and we have a unit where my students plan an event and they have to set the table correctly and have table decorations. This will be inexpensive and simple enough for them to make.
