5 TV Shows to Start Watching Now

As you all know I love watching my TV shows and I watch a lot of them. Today I wanted to share some shows that are really on a roll right now and if you aren’t watching them then you should catch up. Here are 5 TV Shows to Start Watching Now!

1. The Good Wife– Ok I will be honest, I’m not watching the current season because I stopped watching for awhile and got so behind. But all I’ve been hearing is how good the current season (5th) is and so I decided I had to catch up. I’m currently 1/3 of the way through the 4th season and it’s so good and so addicting. I’ve been flying through it with this cold weather keeping me indoors and I can’t wait to get caught up!

2. Revenge– This show slowed down a little last season but my oh my it has hit it’s stride this season. Addicting, juicy, confusing and intriguing plot twists are constantly happening. You are rooting for Emily Thorne to get her Revenge. There was some worry when the show runner left after last season but the new show runner has done a fantastic job. I watch this show live each Sunday and I don’t do that with a lot of shows.

3. New Girl– I’m still laughing about the Thanksgiving episode. Some people think the new relationship (which I won’t spoil for you) doesn’t work for the show. I think it does and this show is as funny as ever. I had to throw in a comedy for you to catch up on because we all need a little laughter (or in the case of New Girl you will be getting a lot of laughter).

4. Bones– Yes it’s in season 9. Yes that’s a lot of seasons. But this show is still producing fantastic episodes that have you trying to solve a murder while laughing and a little crying when things get emotional (like a certain wedding!). So if you want a show still on the air with a lot of seasons to catch up on then this is the one!

5. Parenthood– After a lot of tears last season (ok who am I kidding I cry every season) this show continues to warm our hearts and the Braverman’s feel like family. What’s great about this season is I live 5 minutes from my sister and we are able to watch it together each week. I know that doesn’t speak to the greatness of the show but let me say this my sister watches maybe 4 tv shows regularly, so you know if she takes time to watch it then it is a good show!

What shows are you loving that you would add to this list?

I used to watch The Good Wife but stopped about a year ago. I looked for it on Netflix to get caught up, but they don’t have it. Where have you been watching to get caught up?

I almost started watching “The New Girl!” It must be good if it’s on a list of shows to watch. 🙂 I guess I must start now.

I JUST started watching “The Following”. Like…today. It’s a good show IF you like thriller shows. Just a warning, there is lots of blood and gore.

We really enjoy New Girl! My husband is watching The Following and he is enjoying it. It might be a bit too much blood and gore for me though, but he likes it!

I love watching Bones. I’ve probably watched the past season and current one plus bunch of reruns. I also watch Parenthood. I don’t think I started that at the beginning, but close to. There is a lot going on right now.

Thanks! For these, I too have fallen behind on TGW, and was late to the party to start with (saw seasons 1-4 in an amazon marathon). Will check some of those others out. I do love Parenthood!!

I find it hard to watch TV in real time. I’ve heard great things about most of these, and I might get hooked to one or two of them soon! Thank you for linking to the In and Out of the Kitchen Link Party. Hope to see you next week.

The only one on this list that I’m watching is The Good Wife. I have blogged about it too. Such a great show. My husband is a fan of Revenge, but I just can’t get into it. Thanks for sharing. Visiting from Wine’d Down Wednesday.

Parenthood makes me cry very dang episode. I see so many parts of my family in it. Beautifully written and portrayed.

I really enjoyed The Bridge, now in season 2. It’s raw, gory, and violent so be warned.

The Walking Dead is always one of my favorites. Again, raw, gory, and violent. Also skip season 2 and just read the recaps. Season 2 was horrible.

Scrubs. This one you can binge through easily on netflix. I think it truly is a very underrated comedy. I’m sad it’s over but the last couple season were getting a bit tired. Seasons 1-6 are pure hilarity tho.

Justified. I swear I’m not a huge violent show person lol….but this has such good smattering a of comedy with in it. And Timothy Olyphant….swoon

And lastly Covert Affairs. Piper Perabo kicks some major butt and Chistopher Gorham is hot….

Dang it one last one Happy Endings. Comedy genius. Gone way too soon.

      I love Parenthood too!

I have to avoid the gory shows because I just can’t watch it haha!

I used to watch Scrubs on tv. We will have to make that our next comedy.

We love Covert Affairs, watching it right now actually 🙂

And yes we loved Happy Endings too!
