Hey everyone! Please welcome TaMara from Tales of a Pee Dee Mama. She is guest posting today and sharing a delicious recipe for Tater Tot Casserole. This look so good and very kid friendly! I can’t wait to try it out!

Tater Tot Casserole

When I want comfort food, I reach back to my childhood. Recipes made by my grandmother and my mom make me happy. It’s even better if it’s something that my small people will eat. This Tater Tot Casserole is straight from my grandmother’s recipe box, and because of the layer of tater tots it’s become a favorite of the small people.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 c chopped onions
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
1 can corn, peas, or green beans, well drained
1 bag frozen tater tots

Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with chopped onions. Drain well
2. Season with salt and pepper
3. Mix in soup and veggies.
4. Put in casserole or small roaster
5. Cover with a layer of tater tots
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

I love casseroles like this – can’t wait to move back to the US where I have the ingredients – because I’m NOT making tater tots from scratch lol 🙂
