As much as I love my fall/winter TV shows I am always pretty excited for my summer TV shows. Today I wanted to share my 5 Must See Summer Shows. I don’t have as many shows in the summer which is good since it’s light later and warm outside so the DVR always gets put on the back burner. But I do have some favorites that I always watch and wanted to share with you today!
Rookie Blue– June 19th at 9/8 C on ABC – This show is by far my favorite summer show. It’s been going for a few seasons and if you don’t watch it then I really think you should catch up on it because it’s so good. I would kind of call it the Grey’s Anatomy of cop shows. It’s about a bunch of rookie cops and all the mistakes they make and the friendships they make along the way, oh and there is plenty of romantic drama. I can’t wait for it to return!
Pretty Little Liars– June 10th at 9/8 C on ABC Family- It’s back tonight and I’m so excited! The last season ended with a big shocker and even though they have been stringing us along forever I’ve heard tale that we will find out who A is this season. If that’s true remains to be seen. All I can say is I sure hope Tyler Blackburn is back as Caleb and I also heard Toby is going to be back. So I am excited about that and I can’t wait to see what happens!
Motive– Wednesdays at 10/9C on ABC- This show has already started back with it’s second season and so far so good! This show is a concept I’d never seen before until last summer and we really enjoy it. The episode starts out showing you, the viewer, the identity of the killer and victim. You then spend the entire episode trying to figure out why they did it, the motive, while the detectives search for who and why. It’s a great show!
Covert Affairs– June 24th at 10/9 C on USA- This show keeps the twists and turns coming and I just love it. It reminds me somewhat of Alias with the spy drama. I love the relationship between Auggie and Annie and I’m excited to see what this season brings!
Rizzoli and Isles– June 17th at 9/8 C on TNT- I love Rizzoli and Isles. It’s funny, heartfelt, drama and crime solving. It’s a great show and I am looking forward to the new season. I am also interested to see how they handle the passing of Lee Thompson Young who played Detective Frost. I’m sure it will be sad and he will be greatly missed! It will be a great season I am sure!
These are my 5 Must See Summer Shows, now I want you to tell me what your favorite show of the summer is? My #1 is definitely Rookie Blue. I am really looking forward to it’s return in a couple of weeks!
