Football season is just around the corner, can you smell it in the air? In this house we are big football fans. I kid you not when I say that after the first game of last season my husband was already counting down to kickoff for the 2014 season. He is a football loving man so in the fall most of our weekends are spent watching football. I am trying to add to my list of football recipes because we enjoy having people over and I don’t have a lot of snack recipes. This past weekend I made this SNICKERS® Apple Dip and it was delicious.
I decided I wanted to try out this SNICKERS® Apple Dip for us to have as a football snack. I love that it’s a snack you dip apples into instead of chips. Makes it seem a little healthier and it’s an alternative or great alongside the traditional chips and dip. The flavors in this dip are so delicious and pair perfectly with the addition of the SNICKERS® bars.
I headed out to Sam’s last week to pick up the 48 Count Box of SNICKERS® and the 106 Count Variety Bag. Now I am stocked up on delicious candy bars for all of our football weekends. It’s always good to be prepared with snacks during those intense and stressful 4th quarters.

We love this apple dip and it’s perfect to make for your next football party or take to your next tailgating party! Easy to make and easily transportable. Those are two requirements for me when it comes to football food. Be sure to use some pineapple juice if you’re transporting the apples and dip and want to keep the apples fresh!
I love finding new uses for candy bars and perfect recipes for football season. Tell me, what are some football traditions in your family? Do you count down the days like my husband?
