Let’s be honest today, our pets are cute but they make big messes. From shedding or tearing up toys, our floors can become a disaster zone quickly with our one dog. And we’re about to add a second one to the mix, call us crazy, but it’s true. When we moved into our new house it was my dream to put down dark hardwood floors. Well dark hardwoods and pet hair do not mix well at all. I’ve found a great way to combat those messy floors and that’s with The Swiffer Effect.
I was so excited to receive two Big Green Boxes from Swiffer to review. I love using their products and they are perfect for getting all of that dog hair and dust off of my dark hardwood floors. Now since I received two I had one to give away. Since my sister’s dog just had 10 puppies, yes 10, I figured she was the perfect person to surprise with this box full of Swiffer goodies! Now of course she isn’t keeping all of these puppies, she’s finding great homes for them! But right now when they come in to play they are all over the place making messes like only puppies do.
We are bringing home one of the puppies to join our family and I’m of course excited about it but regretting those dark hardwood floors at the same time. Fortunately Swiffer products are safe for my pets and make the clean up so easy that way I can spend more time playing with Dolly and the new puppy instead of spending all day trying to clean up their messes. And I can enjoy my hardwood floors and not regret getting them so dark because they are gorgeous.
My sister was so excited to receive her Swiffer box with all of the products to help keep her floors clean. Rubi even tried to help out with the cleaning. My sister was amazed by how well it worked and how much dust and dirt it picked up. She couldn’t believe how dirty her floors really were.

I have two dogs and hardwood floors. I use the Swiffer Wet Jet to mop with. It’s much better for hardwood floors than a traditional mop and bucket since the floor doesn’t get near as wet.
