I’ve got 3 Steps to a Clean Kitchen with Palmolive® Multi Surface!

I’ve said it before and I’m going to be real again today. I struggle with keeping a clean house. My house is open concept so you can always see the kitchen. We knocked a wall out to make it that way, so I can’t complain. But it does require for me to keep my kitchen clean and clutter free if I want my home to have the look of being clean. With a large kitchen counter clutter can pile up really quickly and it gets dirty underneath all that clutter.

I was so excited when I heard about Palmolive® Multi Surface. I don’t like cluttering up my kitchen with needing a different thing to clean every part of my kitchen. With Palmolive® Multi Surface you can use it to clean both your dishes and surfaces in your kitchen, score! I love having this product and being able to just have one thing to keep my kitchen clean. Palmolive® Multi Surface eliminates 99.9% of bacteria (*staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica and E. coli ((157:H7)) from dishes and hard non porous kitchen surfaces. I picked it up at Wal Mart and was inspired to share 3 Steps to a Clean Kitchen.

1. Declutter– it might be a file organizing system in your kitchen or a basket system (I have both). While I don’t necessarily utilize them as I should, that’s one of my goals, which is why this the first of my tips.

2. Wipe down your counters– This is why I love Palmolive® Multi Surface because it’s perfect to use for wiping down the counters. Wiping them down consistently can keep you from really having to scrub later on down the road.

3. Clean as you go– This one is so important when you’re cooking or baking, clean as you go. I can get to the end of dinner prep sometimes and find myself with a sink full of dishes and a counter that’s covered in everything. It’s so much easier to clean as you go and easier on my husband since he does the dishes.

These are three tips that I try to implement on a daily basis. If I really make myself think about it and just do them it doesn’t take more than 15-20 minutes to make my kitchen look better. And daily maintenance helps the big cleaning be a lot easier. Do you have any tips to keeping a clean kitchen?
