Meet Love, Pasta and a Tool Belt’s New Contributors!

I am so excited to have three new contributors and one returning contributor joining the blog for the next few months! I love being able to showcase other bloggers work with you guys alongside my own work. It’s so fun to be able to other people’s talents and perspectives to you my readers! I wanted to introduce you to my new contributors so I asked them all a few questions to help you get to know them.

First meet Sara from Dinner at the Zoo

When did you start blogging and why do you blog? I originally started blogging back in 2006 – the blog world was a very different place back then, Pinterest didn’t exist and no one knew about Facebook yet! I stopped blogging in 2009 and took a very long break to have 3 daughters. I just couldn’t stay away from blogging, and in March of this year I launched a brand new site, Dinner at the Zoo. I blog because I like to share my tried and true recipes with the world – nothing makes me happier than hearing someone made my recipe and enjoyed it!

What are your favorite posts from your blog? – This cake is my husband’s absolute favorite, I make it every year on his birthday. Ironically, one of the most popular posts on my blog isn’t a recipe at all – it’s a recap of my twins’ Under the Sea Birthday Party!

What is your favorite TV Show? Pretty Little Liars, even though I’m probably about 10 years too old for it.

What is your dream vacation? I would love to go back to Hawaii, I haven’t been there in many years.

What is your favorite food? A really good brownie. Preferably with ice cream on top.

Next meet, Heather from The Deans List Blog

When did you start blogging and why do you blog? I had a blog when I was in high school in college. I mainly wrote about current happenings, but I sometimes wrote about crafts and recipes! In my early adult career, I followed a lot of DIY and craft blogs, and I fell in love with them. I stayed creeping on the blogs until this year, March 2015, and started my own!

What are your favorite posts from your blog? – I love making things I actually use. Some of my favorites are my Paint Dipped Bamboo Utensils, My First Anniversary Gift from my husband, and this Strawberry Power Smoothie because I am in love with it.

What is your favorite TV Show? I only get to choose one? I’m a fan of pretty much anything on NBC – I loved the Office, and still quote it as often as I can. I also am a big fan of Parks and Recreation! I love laughing.

What is your dream vacation? One day, I would love to spend a couple weeks in Hawaii!

What is your favorite food? Ice Cream. Hands down — that stuff is good.

And meet Jessica from Together as Family

When did you start blogging and why do you blog? I started blogging in March 2015. I have always loved menu planning, trying new recipes, baking and cooking. When I’m stressed, anxious, or just had a rough day you can always find me in the kitchen baking something. I love to share yummy & delicious recipes that you can gather your family around for. There is nothing better than sitting with family & friends and enjoying a delicious meal! I blog because it gives me an excuse to make delicious treats, yummy snacks, and meals for my family and friends.

What are your favorite posts from your blog? – Triple Peanut Butter Monster Cookies, Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Potatoes and Pineapple Chicken Salad Sandwiches.

What is your favorite TV Show? Do I have to pick just one?! 🙂 I love Scandal & Survivor

What is your dream vacation? Going to the Super Bowl! I love football!

What is your favorite food? Rice, avocado, & fruit crisp with vanilla ice cream

Why did you start blogging and why do you blog? – I started blogging as a way to keep my relatives in other states informed about my life and me upcoming wedding. What started off as a wedding planning blog slowly turned in to a creative outlet to share my passion for writing and humor. Today I continue blogging because it has allowed me to learn so much about who I am as a person and it has connected me to so many wonderful people that encourage and inspire me.

What are your favorite posts from your blog?

Two Lives – About my experience growing up as a singer/songwriter. It was fun to share my past and my passions for the first time to many of my readers.

13 Years With Crohn’s Disease – I recently reached my 13 year mark since I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and I’m so proud of the way that experience has helped me to grow.

What is your favorite food? – My favorite food is pizza. I think I could eat pizza for every meal. My husband and I have a Friday night pizza night tradition where we order pizza and rent a movie and it’s my favorite night of the week.

What is your dream vacation? – I would love to go to Italy one day. My grandmother was born there and I’ve always wanted to experience it for myself.
