Make your planning easy with these tips to Plan Your Perfect Honeymoon

If you're ready to plan your honeymoon then make it easy with these tips to Plan Your Perfect Honeymoon- Love, Pasta and a Tool Belt | travel | trip planning | honeymoon | honeymoon planning | travel plans |

The Honeymoon:

Do you want to relax or be active? We chose to relax.

Are you a beach person or more of a mountain person? We are beach people

Do you want to stay in the states or go out? We choose outside of the states.

Are you looking for a great deal or is money no object? I’d say we fell in the middle. Money was an object but you only honeymoon once. We found better deals in Mexico so we chose Mexico.

Do you want All-Inclusive? We decided early on that All-Inclusive sounded like a sweet deal and it really was one!

What kind of accommodations do you want? I saw these great resorts with rooms with private pools or jacuzzi’s and I was like yes please! So we got one with a private plunge pool and jacuzzi and it was worth the money.

Where do you begin the search? Hello Trip Advisor. I am kind of in love with this site. I can spend hours on it researching trips we will probably never take but hey we might so better ready than sorry right? So I spent so much time on here and I’ve probably read about every single resort out there. I also googled all inclusive resorts and got information there as well.

How do you book? I was worried about this one until I realized we have a family friend who is a travel agent and using a travel agent is no cost to you. He gets paid through the resort and airline he books for you. So we called up our travel agent and told him when, where and he got us pricing and we said book ’em Danno. And then we were set.

It can seem like a daunting task but it is relatively easy. If you aren’t into researching then you can do like my friends did and call a travel agent, tell them your budget and what kind of vacation you want and they’ll give you the best options and that really narrows down your search for you.

Always read the reviews but if you see only a few negative ones and way more positives then don’t let it get you down. As I learned in marketing, bad word of mouth travels much faster than good word of mouth. That being said if there are more bad reviews than good then I would recommend you steer clear of that place.

Just now reading this, but SO true about all inclusive resorts! I would recommend them for anyone going on a vacation.

We went to St. Thomas in the Caribbean! My husband planned everything and surprised me with the plans at the airport. It was beautiful there, but it was not an all-inclusive, which we now wished it was. It became a bit pricey with the food and we ended up venturing out and going to the local grocery store to get snacks. haha But, it was beautiful and we still had a great time!

Oh wow! I am such a control freak I planned most of our honeymoon haha. I would have a hard time now knowing where we were going but I’m sure the surprise was so exciting!

We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon and it was so magical! Everyone said it was too cliche but I didn’t care because I always wanted to go and I’m glad that I did. My hubby and I had an amazing time. I wish they had an all inclusive package but we ended up paying a ton for everything. It was well worth it though. We’re hoping to go to Fiji for our 10 year anniversary 🙂
