Officially Homeowners, again!

We don’t waste time. We’ve been here just a month and we are officially homeowners, WOO!

Officially Homeowners!

My dad said he couldn’t tell if we were terrified or excited? Those are excited faces 🙂 But in the words of my sister it’s a little anti-climatic. We signed the papers and have the keys but we can’t take possession of the house until Sunday afternoon. So we have a few days until we can get into the house and start knocking out walls and ripping up carpet, I’m not kidding. Oh wow what have we gotten ourselves into? I’ve been pinning like crazy onto my New House board with all kinds of ideas. My mind is whirling. But I can’t wait to get in there and get to work.

We had our final walk thru yesterday and were able to show Tyler’s parents the house as they were passing through town so that was fun. I was happily surprised that the bathroom floors were a different color than I’d remembered. They go perfect with my dream bathroom plan.

So starting Sunday we will be taking all kinds of before pictures and getting to work and we can’t wait to share all of the progress with you guys. This blogging thing has really inspired us and we are excited to get to work and do some DIY projects, eek. Hopefully they turn out well. But stick around as we will share the good, the bad and the ugly.
