I love creating my own home decor from items that we already have in the house. I’ve seen so many ideas for cute twine projects and the other day I decided to use some bottles to make DIY Twine Vases. I already had a roll of twine so for me this ended up being a free project, although of course I bought the twine at one point. But its relatively inexpensive so this is a pretty inexpensive project. In marketing we learned to use the word inexpensive not cheap to make it sound better, what do you think?
Supplies:
– Old bottles (I used beer bottles)
– Twine
– Hot glue gun
Directions:
1. Start at the top and hot glue the twine down then began to wrap the twine around the bottle.
2. Be sure to wrap tightly and watch for any overlapping or bad spots. It won’t be perfect but keep an eye out.
3. Wrap all the way to the bottom and then hot glue the twine at the bottom on the side that will be the back of the bottle. You may have to add some glue a good ways around to keep the twine from falling off.
I love how cute these vases are and the rustic look of them. I had some extra flowers from my Fall Apple Wreath so I decided to put those in there. Have you made any projects from old bottles?

I love those flowers! The vases are super cute too. It totally matches the fall decor in my house!
Thank you Leslie!

I’ve done this to a few bottles I had laying around, and I love them! I absolutely love the flowers you put in yours, I may need to update mine. haha
Thank you! I love them too! Changing just the flowers would make such a fun change for the seasons!
