3 New TV Shows You Should Be Watching

Fall TV is here and in full swing. So many shows to watch and they are all so good! I was out of town for most of the first three weeks when all of the fall shows started. So now Tyler and I are very behind and have a DVR full of shows to watch. We have not even touched The Blacklist yet (gasp) and have watched only one episode of Scandal (SAY WHAT?). It’s been hard to want to start the new shows but we have finally started some and man are they good. Today I’m sharing 3 New TV Shows You Should Be Watching!

3 New TV Shows that you should be Watching! If you aren't watching these new fall tv shows then you need to check them out now!

1. Jane the Virgin, Monday at 9/8c on The CW– I was very skeptical when I heard the plot line for this show. A virgin girl who gets artificially inseminated, what? Well one day I was bored and caught up on all my shows that I watch without Tyler so I decided to give this one a go and and I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s dramatic, funny, endearing and just enough soap opera but not too much. I’m already caught up thanks to on demand and anxiously awaiting a new episode! It’s already been picked up for a full season so I am excited about that!

2. Scorpion, Monday at 9/8c on CBS – When I heard this show was from the writers of Prison Break well there was no way I was saying no. I loved Prison Break, check it out on my shows to binge watch. We started this show and episode one was fast paced, exciting and also endearing. Can you tell I love a good endearing show? I like to feel an emotional attachment to the characters.

3. Madam Secretary, Sunday 8/7c on CBS – We finally started this show the other night and it is good! I had to remind myself that not every political drama is Scandal and goes so fast your head is spinning because this show seemed a bit slow at moments. But Tea Leoni is funny and I love Tim Daly so I was excited to see him in a show again too. It’s nice to see a show about politics where someone is not a total politician. This show is dramatic, funny and dare I say, endearing?

There are a lot of other good new shows out there but I can’t list them all. Tell me, what’s your favorite new show of the season?

Thanks for these recommendations! I had heard of Jane the Virgin but not the other two, now I am going to have to play a little catchup. We attempted to watch American Horror Story last week but I just could not get into it and neither could my husband so we decided we would just find a different show.

I don’t get a lot of time to watch tv but this weekend the boyfriend & I binged watched American Horror Story season 1. It was fun and a great way to get away from things for awhile. I’m thinking we should DVR a few new shows. Thanks for sharing these too.

I’ve got the Madame Secretary shows recording, but haven’t had the time to watch one yet. Then I saw this weekend that it will probably get the ax after this season. Dang! I’ve been watching Gracepoint, but it’s one of the ones that will probably be going away, too. Of course, The Good Wife is my old fave! 🙂
