Make dinner easy with this One Pot 10 Minute Chicken & Broccoli Pasta!
School is back in full swing and fall is in the air! Are you loving it? Fall is one of my favorite seasons and I really need to get my fall decorations out asap before it’s time for Christmas. Fall always seems to be one of the busiest times of the year for us. Tyler is busy busy at work and we are doing a lot of traveling and such. As things get so busy I’m always looking for easy dinner ideas. My brother-in-law makes this delicious pasta and using Tyson Grilled and Ready Strips and Barilla’s new Pronto Pasta I was able to turn it into a simple 10 minute dish.
The first thing you’ll love about this meal is the flavor and how delicious it is. The second thing is that it’s a one pot, 10 minute pasta dish the whole family is bound to love. You start out by following the instructions for the Barilla Pronto Pasta. I chose penne pasta for this dish but there are other varieties for you to choose.
While your pasta is cooking with no drain or boiling required you’ll want to heat up your Tyson Grilled and Ready Strips. These are so great because they are 98% fat free, fully-cooked and have no preservatives. For your vegetable you can mix it up if you like, but I put broccoli in the pasta. Just throw some broccoli in the microwave and then toss it in your pasta. Another great option is to use asparagus. It’s a fun way to mix up the pasta and change up your veggie game!
Once your pasta is done you will add in the heavy whipping cream. I used one pint of it but it may vary by your taste or how much broccoli and chicken you put in the dish. Mix it into your pasta and then add the chicken and broccoli. Finally you will finish it off with a generous helping of parmesan cheese and some garlic powder!
And viola, in ten minutes you have a delicious dish to feed your family and maybe even some leftovers for lunch the next day. Leftovers are one of my favorite things for lunch these days!
