I love a good and easy dessert. This past weekend we were going over to my sister and brother-in-laws for draft night, draft night for fantasy football that is. My sister and I ended up forming a team to help keep the numbers even but more about that later. They were providing dinner so I decided to bring dessert and make Chess Squares which is one of our favorite recipes from my mom.
For months I had been thinking about this specific dessert in my mind and knowing the ingredients but having zero clue what recipe I was thinking about. Finally it came to me one day and I was like Chess Squares! When I was home last I copied down my mom’s recipe and have been looking for a chance to make this delicious dessert bar recipe.
